About Me
Saw.Stopped.Clicked stands for the ever-growing collection of images I have taken over the years, and also describes the straightforward approach that characterizes my picture-taking: I see something, then I stop to frame what is seen before I finally click the shutter.
As a child I had a tendency to “waste film” on anything other than family photos and special events. To my juvenile mind, empty spaces, random objects, and unposed pictures of people were just as worthy of being memorialized as life milestones. This tendency has carried over to the present—really, I just like the idea of highlighting the extraordinary qualities of ordinary circumstances, and pushing what would normally remain in the background into the foreground.
